The second annual Art Now for Autism is just a few months away so a lot of my attention has been directed to that project. I started a blog for it which led me to really neglect this one. I still create art but I have been bad at updating the site lately. If you want to trully be inspired, pop on over to Art Now for Autism where you can see the work of some of the many artists participating this year. I have been overwhelmed by the interest of artists from around the globe!

I am a little disappointed. The tracking on my package of collages to New Zealand has hit a standstill. The last update was that it left JFK Airport in New York on the 19th. I am hoping that it caught a direct flight to NZ but we will have to wait until after the holiday to see if Dale got the package. In the meantime, over 140 artists are participating in this year’s exhibit.
Here are the rest of my International Collage Exchange pieces…

So this group of collages are playing on my traditional paper collages. I am trying to experiment with getting the confetti or mosaic like style into fabric. I think I would have pushed all of these collages further if I had more time. Maybe making them into one larger quilt or something.
